This past Saturday, October 16th, we gathered on campus for  the first Day of Service in two years!

The turnout was fantastic as groups from Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church, Paoli Presbyterian Church, Brandywine Valley Baptist Church, PMB Rotary, and The Swarthmore Group joined with Cornerstone staff and Trustees to spend the day beautifying our campus. Volunteers cleaned the grounds, deep-cleaned classrooms, painted the hallways, and built radiator covers.

In-person volunteer events are a core component of our volunteerism program and with the success of Saturday’s event, we hope to build on this momentum and continue hosting events like this throughout the school year.

The next scheduled Day of Service is set for January 15, 2022 – in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
