  1. Checks and Online Gifts

The most direct way to give to Cornerstone is a cash gift. Contributions are fully tax deductible and this is the manner in which parents, friends, and alumni can impact our Annual Fund:
    • Give online by clicking the DONATE button above.
    • Checks mailed to: P.O. Box 5520 Philadelphia, PA 19143
    • Call Cornerstone’s Advancement Office at 215-724-6858

  2. Recurring Gifts

When making an online gift, you also have the option to set up a recurring gift on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. In doing so, you will join the donors we like to call our “Faithful Givers.”

  3. Tax Credits

Through the PA-EITC and PA-OSTC programs, individuals and businesses can direct your state taxes to support scholarships at Cornerstone. These programs operate on a calendar year basis though you can make gifts in the spring or fall for generous tax benefits.

  4. Gifts of Stock and Securities

Contact your broker to make a gift of stock or securities to Cornerstone. Indicate the name of the stock, number of shares, and the name of the account
the stock is being transferred from.

  5. Planned Gifts

Bequests, charitable gift annuities, cash and other planned gifts can be directed to Cornerstone. The benefits of a planned gift can include sizable income and estate tax deductions, favorable capital gains tax, income and a lasting impact at Cornerstone.

  6. Give Through Your IRA

As a qualified charity under the IRS, Cornerstone is eligible for an individual to donate up to a maximum of $100,000 of your required minimum distribution from your IRA without paying income tax on this withdrawal. To qualify for this tax deduction, funds must be transferred directly from the trustee of your IRA to the school. This donation will not be eligible as a tax-free qualified charitable IRA distribution if you withdraw the money from your IRA and later donate it. This contribution counts towards satisfying your required minimum distribution. We recommend consulting your tax advisor prior to making a decision relating to this type of contribution.

  7. Employee Giving Programs

If your employer matches charitable contributions, you can increase your impact by directing their match to Cornerstone. You can also support Cornerstone through employee giving programs such as United Way, Your Cause, and Benevity.
