Experience Happens Here

We offer a well-rounded educational experience that continues the learning beyond classroom lessons. Clubs, field trips, supplemental technology courses, and wraparound programming provide the opportunity for our students to find their strengths and soar.

  1. Before and After School Programs

    As a way to support our families, Cornerstone partners with The Common Place to provide before and after school programming. The Before School Program begins at 6:45 am until school starts at 7:50 a.m. Parents can drop off their children where dedicated staff greet them and provide morning care at no cost. The Common Place Scholars is an after-school arts and enrichment program that partners with Cornerstone is serving the students of the Southwest Philadelphia community. The Common Place provides quality faith-based arts education and academic enrichment to students from Kindergarten through 8th grade.   2. Tech Titans

    Tech Titans is an after school club that explores the latest developments in technology. Students have the opportunity to learn more about coding, robotics, and 3D printing.   3. Choir

    The Voices In Praise choir travels throughout the country and the state of Pennsylvania sharing the love of God through gospel music.   4. Field Trips

    Field trips expose our students to the world beyond our classrooms and help to solidify practical applications of their learning. Trips are scheduled at the discretion of each teacher and are applicable to classroom curriculum.

  5. Cornerstone Warriors Basketball

    2020 saw the return of basketball to Cornerstone as our Warriors have joined the PACSAC Basketball League. The Warriors are a co-ed team of 5th-8th graders that competes against other local Christian schools from January – March each year. Go Warriors!

  6. Cheerleading

    Cheer has also returned to Cornerstone, cheering and rooting on our boys and girls in blue and gold!

  7. Zoe Praise Dance

    Our all-girl dance group meets throughout the year, learning and performing organized dance routines for groups and solo dancers.
