Cornerstone’s Head of School selected for Klingenstein Fellowship at Columba University
Cornerstone Christian Academy proudly announces that Head of School, Brandon McNeice, has been selected for the prestigious 2025 Klingenstein Head of School Fellowship. This highly competitive program invites just 20 school leaders from across the globe each year to participate in an intensive, fully-funded, two-week professional development program at Columbia University’s Teachers College in New York City.
The fellowship provides a unique opportunity for experienced school heads to engage deeply with educational philosophy, ethics, and pressing issues in education today. Participants collaborate on case studies, explore innovative approaches to leadership, and visit independent schools in New York City to gain new perspectives on teaching and learning.
Brandon McNeice is currently in his first year as Head of School at Cornerstone Christian Academy, where he is leading the institution into an exciting new chapter. Under his leadership, the school is embarking on ambitious initiatives to increase student enrollment, upgrade facilities, and broaden the scope of services offered to families in and around Southwest Philadelphia. These efforts are part of his vision to strengthen the school’s impact and create new opportunities for students and their families.
“It’s an incredible honor to be selected for the Klingenstein Fellowship,” McNeice shared. “I view this as recognition not just of me but of the entire Cornerstone Christian Academy community and the important, impactful work this school has been doing for over 35 years. This program is renowned for inspiring educational leaders, and I am eager to learn alongside such a dynamic group of peers. I look forward to bringing new ideas and strategies back to Cornerstone to help us continue building a strong foundation for our students and community.”
The Klingenstein Center, established in 1977, is a globally recognized leader in research and training for independent school educators. Its alumni network spans 49 states and 60 countries, influencing education worldwide. The fellowship includes opportunities for participants to investigate specific questions relevant to their schools, ensuring that the experience directly benefits their unique communities.
Cornerstone Christian Academy celebrates this recognition of Brandon’s leadership and the potential it represents for the continued growth and success of our school.
