A Letter from Richell Manigault
Dear Cornerstone,
As I reflect on my time at Cornerstone, I think about the many lives that have been impacted. Cornerstone has seen its share of trials, triumphs, and transitions and has remained Cornerstone Strong. During my fifteen years at Cornerstone, the faculty and staff have helped me change the lives of many.
From 5th Grade Teacher, Philly Plus Candidate, Principal Fellow, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Leadership Head of School Team Member, God has blessed me to serve this community. I am thankful for my time at Cornerstone and for the ability to drive the vision, mission, and Strategic School Plan. I am thankful that God has brought us through a pandemic with our student’s still growing academically and spiritually.
As I think through my time at Cornerstone, it’s hard to say that my transition from the Principal of Cornerstone role is near. I will miss consistently interacting with the fantastic students, teachers, faculty and staff, families, board members, and stakeholders who are a part of the community. I will forever be thankful for the time that I served with you.
Cornerstone is near and dear to me, and I will continue to serve as Principal until June 30, 2025. There are many initiatives I am working to accomplish in the School Improvement Plan. There is still work to be done for my wonderful students. Thank you for allowing me to serve this community and drive the vision and mission of Cornerstone Christian Academy.
Sincerely,
Richell Manigault
